Headwaters Wire reports environment news: power and fuels, climate and air, water, and land and wildlife. We do our best to analyse and publish from primary documents as soon as they are released.

From the source

Our stories are built on primary material: rules, orders, filings, notices, court documents and official statements. Every article links the primary sources we used to write it.

Updates and corrections

When we add new information or clarify a point, the story is marked as updated, with the date. In the rare case that we get something wrong, we correct the story and add a dated note saying what changed.

Outside comment

Some stories include comment from people outside the documents. Their views, and any information they offer, are their own.

Republish

Republication is allowed 24 hours after we publish. The full contents of the HTML code must be used as is, not changed or edited. Automated or wholesale republishing is not allowed.
