The decree cites the exceptional climatic conditions affecting French territory as the reason for the derogation.
The derogation concerns the second paragraph of Article D. 614-50 of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code. According to the decree, that provision covers the BCAE 6 standard outside vulnerable zones.
The decree states that it concerns farmers and the state's decentralized services.
According to the decree, it implements Article 13, paragraph 2 bis, of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of the European Parliament and of the Council of Dec. 2, 2021. That regulation sets rules for aid to the common agricultural policy (CAP) strategic plans that member states draw up. The plans are financed by the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (FEAGA) and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (Feader).
The decree enters into force the day after its publication.
It was signed by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu and by Annie Genevard, minister of agriculture, agri-food and food sovereignty.
